Damascus under siege
Isolated from the rest of the country the rebel forces in Damascus have laid siege and have been trying to capture the city since 2012. Most of the Syrian Army Divisions maintain strong military presence and bases in and around Damascus while rebel forces are effectively broken in enclaves that surround the city. With the Army imposing strict restrictions on supplies and movement to and from rebel enclaves one wonders; Who is laying siege and who is the besieged?
